The Trust was originally established in 1974 by people who have an interest in the built, natural and social environment of the town and surrounding area.

Our aim is to encourage high standards of architecture and town planning - through monitoring planning applications and challenging elements that do not support the conservation of our town. By joining the Trust, you will be kept up to date with planning issues and applications that impact North Berwick and its surrounding area.
